To address this, it is recommended that Principal Commissioners not serve on these committees unless necessary due to a lack of available Commissioners. The Link Officer arrangement, as outlined in previous office orders, will be applied to ensure proper decision-making under relevant sections of the Central Excise Act, Finance Act, and Customs Act. This decision has been approved by the competent authority.
