of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Update: New ITC Codes for Sports Goods Added to Focus Product Scheme Benefits.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I (RE 2008) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. In Appendix 37 D, Table 2, two new ITC (HS) Codes, 650610 and 420321, have been added for sports goods, including cricket helmets and gloves, mittens, and mitts designed for sports. These products are now eligible for Focus Product Scheme benefits for exports from April 1, 2008. This amendment aims to promote exports of these specified sports items.
