A new provision has been added to Para 6.29.3, allowing Export Oriented Units (EOU), Electronic Hardware Technology Parks (EHTP), Bio-Technology Parks (BTP), and Software Technology Parks (STP) to re-import samples exported for statutory stability and retention requirements without paying duty. The Free on Board (FOB) value of these samples will not be included in Net Foreign Exchange (NFE) calculations or for other export benefits. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
