of <h1>Supreme Court Stay: SCNs u/s 28(11) of Customs Act to Remain in Call Book Until Further Notice.</h1> The circular addresses the inclusion of Show Cause Notices (SCNs) related to sub-section (11) of Section 28 of the Customs Act, 1962, concerning the competency of officers from DGDRI, DGCEI, and Customs (Prev.) in the Call Book. Following the Supreme Court's stay on a Delhi High Court judgment, all SCNs covered by this judgment should remain in the Call Book until the Supreme Court resolves the Department's Special Leave Petition. Additionally, SCNs pending adjudication with duty demands prior to April 8, 2011, issued by relevant officers, should also be transferred to the Call Book, regardless of their issuance date.
