of <h1>Raw Cotton added to VKGUY scheme for duty credit scrip on exports; eligibility ends July 1, 2009.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I RE 2008, under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. A new entry has been added to Table 14 of Appendix 37A, listing Raw Cotton with ITC HS Code '520100' as a VKGUY product eligible for duty credit scrip on exports from April 1, 2008. However, this eligibility will be revoked for exports made on or after July 1, 2009. The amendment is issued in the public interest.
