of <h1>New Procedure Simplifies Manual Drawback Shipping Bills u/s 74; Reduces Redundant Scrutiny at CFS Dronagiri.</h1> The circular addresses the processing of manual Drawback Shipping bills under section 74 and the examination procedures by customs officers at Container Freight Stations (CFS). Due to the absence of a suitable electronic system for recording examination details, manual shipping bills are filed and registered at CFS Dronagiri. Previously, these bills underwent multiple scrutinies by different officers, causing inconvenience to exporters. The revised procedure eliminates redundant scrutiny by the Appraiser and Assistant Commissioner at CFS Dronagiri for consignments carted from other CFS locations. The responsibility for examination and scrutiny is assigned to the respective officers at the CFS where the goods are carted.
