It mandates the use of the Risk Management System for container profiling and requires Import Export Codes to be included in Import General Manifests. Shipping agents must register their email addresses with the Customs EDI system to receive notifications about containers selected for scanning. Complete IGM details must be filed before vessel arrival, and non-compliance will result in penalties. Any software issues should be reported to the Additional Commissioner of the Container Scanning Division.
