These commodities, which include fresh poultry meat, honey, milk products, and egg products, must meet the standards set under the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 1963. Exports are only permitted if the products are manufactured in establishments approved and monitored by the EIA, and the consignments are accompanied by a Certificate of Inspection or Certificate of Export. Details on approved establishments and applicable standards are available through the Export Inspection Council of India.
