This system, part of the CBEC's IT Consolidation Project, will centralize operations previously handled by standalone servers, enhancing connectivity through CBEC's MPLS network. The system will initially process duty-free white shipping bills and EGMs, with other types to follow. Exporters must ensure their Import Export Codes (IE Codes) are registered with ICES, and Custom House Agents (CHAs) and shipping lines must also register. The system facilitates electronic filing and processing of shipping bills, requiring compliance with various procedural prerequisites, including registration of bank accounts for drawback credits. It aims to streamline export procedures, enhance data accuracy, and improve efficiency in customs operations.
