This follows a relaxation of the time-frame for processing returns with refund claims for assessment years 2012-13 to 2014-15, which can now be processed by March 31, 2017. The functionality for processing these returns is available in the AST system, with specific validations required. A detailed user manual is provided, and technical support is available through the ITBA helpdesk.
