of <h1>Customs Notice Amended: Imported Samples Must Be Tested at Nearest CIPET Lab, Clarifying Trade Concerns.</h1> The corrigendum issued by the Office of the Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Jawahar Nehru Custom House amends Public Notice No. 33/2010 dated 19.03.2010. It clarifies that, in accordance with Public Notice No. 392 dated 01.01.1997 and Circular No. 20/2002-2007 dated 12.03.2003, samples from imported consignments must be sent to the nearest laboratory or office of the Central Institute of Plastic Engineering & Technology (CIPET) for testing. This amendment addresses representations received from the trade community.
