of <h1>Mumbai Customs Launches Online Processing for SEIS Scrips, Streamlining Operations from October 10, 2016.</h1> The Customs authority in Mumbai has announced the online transmission and processing of Service Export from India Scheme (SEIS) scrips, effective from October 10, 2016. This system, integrated with the Indian Customs EDI System (ICES), eliminates the need for manual registration of scrips at ports, requiring only a one-time verification. Manual debits will still be recorded in the EDI Ledger and on hard copies if they occurred before the integration. Customs Brokers and traders must ensure system entries within 10 days of the notice. Any implementation issues should be reported to the System Manager.
