<h1>Cosmetic Importers in India Must Register Products with DCG (I) Under Amended Drugs & Cosmetics Rules, 1945.</h1> Importers of cosmetics into India must ensure their products are registered with the Drugs Controller General (India) as per the amended Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945, effective from April 1, 2013. This requirement follows the Gazette Notification G.S.R. 426 (E) issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Importing unregistered cosmetics will be considered an offense under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act. Importers should apply for registration with the DCG (I) to comply with these regulations.
