of <h1>Visakhapatnam Customs Updates Refund Process: Direct Bank Transfers Now Replace Cheque Issuance Per Facility Order No. 10/2013.</h1> The Customs Office in Visakhapatnam has issued a new procedure for processing refund claims to expedite disbursements. Applicants must provide detailed bank account information, including a cancelled cheque, when applying for refunds. After eligibility is confirmed, a decision will be made to either approve or partially/fully reject the claim. Approved refunds will be directly credited to the applicant's bank account, eliminating the previous cheque issuance process. This notice modifies the existing procedures outlined in Facility Order No. 10/2013, with all other instructions remaining unchanged. Members of trade and industry associations are encouraged to inform their members of these updates.
