of <h1>New Procedure for ACP Client Container Clearance to Cut Costs and Time; Follow Updated Steps and Report Issues.</h1> The procedure for clearing import-laden containers of ACP clients from the port has been updated to reduce dwell time and transportation costs. The Superintendent, CMFC will now issue only Cargo Container Bond Approval Orders for RMS-enabled containers moved by ACP clients opting for port clearance. ACP clients can file Bills of Entry in advance and move containers to the Customs Docks Examination Cell for verification and OOC issuance. MLOs must leave specific fields blank in the IGM for system-enabled cargo. This facility is unavailable for containers selected for examination and scanning, which must follow previous procedures. Difficulties in implementation should be reported.
