of <h1>Chennai Cargo Service Providers Must Apply for Approval and Publish Charges Per Regulation 6(3) Within 30 Days.</h1> Customs Cargo Service Providers, including Console Agents and Freight Forwarders, operating in the Chennai-VIII jurisdiction, are required to comply with Regulation 6(3) of the Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009. They must submit applications for approval as service providers within 30 days of this notice and publish their service charge schedules prominently, including on their websites. Failure to comply within 15 days will result in action under Regulation 12. Complaints about overcharging will be investigated seriously. This notice is issued in the public interest and must be displayed on both the Customs House and service providers' websites.
