Ltd. to Operate Bangalore Customs EDI Centre; New Service Charges Effective October 1, 2015.</h1> The Customs Commissionerate in Bangalore has announced that M/S Xeam Ventures Pvt. Ltd. has been contracted to operate the Customs EDI Service Centre at the Inland Container Depot in Whitefield, Bangalore. Effective from October 1, 2015, revised service charges will apply for document digitization and processing. Charges include Rs. 80 for Bills of Entry or Shipping Bills with up to five items, and additional fees for extra items and amendments. Remote EDI filing services also have specified charges. These fees exclude service tax, which will be collected separately by the vendor.
