<h1>New Guidelines: Carry Up to Rs. 25,000 in Currency Notes for International Travel, Excludes Nepal and Bhutan.</h1> The circular issued by the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Customs in Bengaluru addresses the regulations on the export and import of Indian currency notes. As per the updated guidelines, individuals residing in India can carry up to Rs. 25,000 in currency notes when traveling abroad, except to Nepal and Bhutan. The same limit applies to those returning to India from international trips. Additionally, foreign visitors, excluding citizens of Pakistan and Bangladesh, can also carry up to Rs. 25,000 in currency notes when entering or exiting India through airports. This update is in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India's notifications.
