of <h1>Customs Mandates Weigh Bridges at ICDs and CFSs; Annual Calibration Required, Report Issues to Kolkata Commissioner.</h1> The Customs authority mandates that Customs Cargo Service Providers (CCSPs) install weigh bridges at Inland Container Depots (ICDs), Container Freight Stations (CFSs), and docks, preferably near entry or exit gates, as per regulations. These weigh bridges must be annually calibrated by the Metrological Department, and separate machines should be used for goods weighing up to 100 kg. Weighing of imported and exported goods must occur in the presence of a Customs officer. Any difficulties in implementing these directives should be reported to the Commissioner of Customs at the Port in Kolkata.
