of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Update: New ITC(HS) Code 85052000 for Staples in Strips Added to Focus Product Scheme Benefits.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended Appendix 37D of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I (RE 2008) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. A new ITC(HS) Code 85052000 for Staples in Strips has been added to Table 2 under Sports Goods, Fire Works, and Stationery Items. This amendment entitles the export of Staples in Strips to Focus Product Scheme benefits for exports made from April 1, 2008. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
