of <h1>Rupee Value Revised for Deferred Payment Protocols with Former USSR under FEMA 1999; New Rate Rs. 64.9196.</h1> The circular addresses Authorized Dealer Category - I banks regarding revisions in the rupee value of the special currency basket related to Deferred Payment Protocols between the Government of India and the former USSR, dated April 30, 1981, and December 23, 1985. Initially set at Rs. 62.5050 effective November 10, 2008, the rupee value was revised to Rs. 64.9196, effective November 19, 2008. Banks are instructed to inform relevant parties of this change. The circular is issued under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, and does not affect other legal permissions or approvals.
