of <h1>Import Restrictions Imposed; Transitional Arrangements Under FTP Paragraph 1.5 Remain Unaffected for Pre-Notification Shipments.</h1> Notification Nos. 63 and 64, dated November 21 and 24, 2008, respectively, have imposed restrictions on the import of certain items. However, the transitional arrangements under Paragraph 1.5 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) remain unaffected, allowing continued importation under these provisions. Additionally, shipments made before the notification dates may proceed as per Paragraph 9.11A of the Handbook of Procedures, Volume I. This directive, approved by the competent authority, is addressed to all Licensing Authorities and Customs Commissioners to ensure compliance with these transitional arrangements.
