of <h1>State Electricity Agencies Must Submit Annual Returns for Manufacturers Exceeding 150 Lakh Rupees Under Notification No. 4/2016-ST.</h1> The circular outlines procedures for furnishing annual information returns under Notification No. 4/2016-ST. State Electricity Agencies must electronically submit returns regarding certain manufacturers using induction furnaces or rolling mills, whose clearances exceed 150 lakh rupees annually. The Principal Chief Commissioner or Chief Commissioner of Central Excise and Service Tax will nominate liaison officers to ensure compliance and identify relevant manufacturers. Until electronic formats are finalized, returns can be submitted on CD-ROM or DVD. The responsibility for data analysis and dissemination lies with the Principal Chief Commissioner, while any implementation difficulties should be reported to the Board.
