of <h1>DGFT Amends Handbook of Procedures; DEPB Scheme Extended Until May 2009, Effective Immediately.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has amended the Handbook of Procedures, v1 (RE 2008) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. Paragraph 1.1 has been replaced to state that the Handbook of Procedures v1, v2, and the Schedule of Duty Entitlement Passbook (DEPB) rates will remain effective until further amendments, with the DEPB Scheme continuing until May 2009. This amendment is issued in the public interest and is effective immediately as of December 8, 2008.
