of <h1>DGFT Adjusts EPCG Export Obligations for 2007-08 Due to Over 5% Decline in Sector Exports per Para 5.11.3.</h1> The circular addresses the operationalization of provisions in Para 5.11.3 of the Handbook of Procedures, Volume I, concerning Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Authorization holders. It provides relief for those whose export products are in sectors where total exports declined by more than 5% in 2007-08 compared to 2006-07. Regional Authorities are instructed to adjust the annual average export obligation for EPCG Authorizations for 2007-08 based on the percentage decline in exports. The circular is issued with the approval of the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
