of <h1>Vehicle Manufacturers Can Claim TED Refunds with Dealer and Authorization Holder Affidavits Under EPCG Scheme.</h1> Manufacturers of vehicles supplying to EPCG Authorization holders through dealers have faced rejection of their TED refund claims due to invoices not being issued directly to the authorization holders. The issue has been reviewed, and it is now decided that indigenous vehicle manufacturers can claim TED refunds upon submission of affidavits from both the dealer and the EPCG Authorization holder. These affidavits must confirm that no TED refund has been claimed for the vehicle and include the dealer's excise invoice number and the vehicle's chassis number. This requirement is in addition to other documents needed for deemed export benefits.
