It notes that these entries are being unnecessarily referred to Participating Government Agencies (PGAs) for No Objection Certificates (NOCs), despite having received them at the warehousing stage. The directive clarifies that all regulatory checks should occur at the into bond stage. If PGAs cannot immediately issue an NOC for certain goods, these goods may be stored under section 49 of the Customs Act, 1962, until the NOC is resolved. Any difficulties should be reported to the Board.
