Urges Dealers to Update PAN Details by Aug 12 to Transition to GST, Avoid Penalties.</h1> The Department of Trades & Taxes in Delhi has issued a public notice regarding the transition to GST, effective from April 1, 2016. All dealer TINs will be replaced with GSTINs based on their PAN details. The department has found that many registered dealers have either missing or invalid PAN details. Affected dealers must update their PAN information online by August 12, 2015. Failure to comply may result in actions under the DVAT Act, including possible cancellation proceedings. Compliance by the specified date is urged to avoid penalties.
