of <h1>Partial Relaxation on Edible Oil Export Ban: Branded Packs Allowed Up to 5 kg, Total Limit 10,000 Tons by Oct 31, 2009.</h1> The circular addresses the partial relaxation of the ban on exporting edible oil, allowing exports in branded consumer packs of up to 5 kg, with a total limit of 10,000 tons until October 31, 2009. Exports are permitted only from Customs EDI Ports. To ensure compliance with the export limit, a weekly report detailing the quantity and value of exported edible oil must be submitted to the Office of DGFT by the Joint Secretary, Customs, and DGCI&S, Kolkata. This directive is approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
