of <h1>CBDT Extends TDS and TCS Payment Deadline to December 20 for Tamil Nadu Entities u/s 119 of Income-Tax Act.</h1> The Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended the deadline for depositing tax deducted at source (TDS) and tax collected at source (TCS) for entities in Tamil Nadu. Originally due on December 7, 2015, the new deadline for these payments, related to deductions or collections made in November 2015, is now December 20, 2015. This extension is authorized under section 119 of the Income-Tax Act, 1961, and applies specifically to deductors located within the state of Tamil Nadu.
