of <h1>Pune-III Excise Commissioner Designates e-FPBs for Service Tax and Excise Duty Payments; Banks Must Follow RBI Guidelines.</h1> The Commissioner of Central Excise, Pune-III, has issued a Trade Notice designating specific Focal Point Branches (e-FPB) of UCO Bank, Allahabad Bank, and Central Bank of India in New Delhi for e-payment collections of Service Tax and Central Excise duties for Commissionerates not authorized for physical collection. These branches will manage daily submissions of scrolls and challans by Commissionerate and Major Head to the Pay & Accounts Officer and settle funds with the RBI, CAS, Nagpur. Banks must adhere to RBI guidelines for fund remittance, with penalties for delays. Trade associations are urged to inform their members.
