of <h1>CBDT Extends E-Filing Deadline for Income Tax Returns and Audit Reports to October 31, 2015, Nationwide u/s 119.</h1> The Central Board of Direct Taxes, exercising its authority under Section 119 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, has extended the deadline for e-filing income tax returns and audit reports under Section 44AB. Initially due by September 30, 2015, the new deadline is now set for October 31, 2015, applicable nationwide. This order supersedes the previous directive issued on September 30, 2015.
