of <h1>Exim Bank Opens $20M Line of Credit to Rwanda for Power Project; 85% Sourcing from India Required.</h1> Exim Bank has established a Line of Credit (LOC) of USD 20 million to the Government of Rwanda as the first tranche of an overall USD 80 million agreement. This credit aims to finance eligible goods and services, including consultancy services from India, for a power project in Rwanda executed by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited and Angelique International Ltd. At least 85% of the contract value must be sourced from India. The LOC is effective from October 15, 2008, with specific timelines for the opening of Letters of Credit and disbursement. No agency commission is payable under this LOC.
