<h1>Exim Bank of India Opens $33M Line of Credit to Support Key Infrastructure Projects in Laos with Indian Goods.</h1> Exim Bank of India has established a USD 33 million Line of Credit (LOC) with the Government of Lao People's Democratic Republic to finance projects involving Indian goods, services, and consultancy. The LOC supports the Paksong S/S - Jiangxai Transmission Line Project, Nam Song Hydropower Project, and Rural Electrification Phase 2 Project in Lao PDR. At least 85% of the contract value must be sourced from India. The agreement, effective from October 14, 2008, allows for Letters of Credit and disbursements within specified timeframes. No agency commission is payable, but exporters may use their resources for such payments.
