of <h1>Custom House Sets Up Review Cell for Appeals; Monitors Orders and Manages Pre-Deposit Certification per Finance Act 2014.</h1> A Review Cell has been established at the Custom House to manage appeals filed before the Commissioner of Customs (Appeals) and CESTAT by importers, exporters, or the Department. This cell examines orders for acceptance and monitors pending orders, including stay orders. Monthly reports are compiled for effective monitoring. The Finance Act (No.2), 2014 mandates a pre-deposit for appeals filed post-6th August 2014. The Appraising Officer in the Review Cell certifies TR-6 challans for these deposits. Any implementation issues should be reported to the Additional Commissioner.
