of <h1>DGFT Amends Foreign Trade Policy Handbook: Deletes Paragraphs 4.8, 5.3; Revises EPCG Scheme Application Form Paragraph 5.2.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a public notice amending the Handbook of Procedures for the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09. Paragraph 4.8 concerning 'Financial Powers' and Paragraph 5.3 have been deleted. Additionally, Paragraph 5.2 related to the 'Application Form' under the Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Scheme has been revised. Applications for authorization must now be submitted to the relevant Regional Authority using form ANF 5A, accompanied by the required documents. These changes are implemented in the public interest.
