of <h1>New Gate Module at ICTT Vallarpadom Enhances Container Movement; Amendments to Let Export Order Restricted After Entry.</h1> A Gate Module is being implemented at the International Container Transhipment Terminal (ICTT) in Vallarpadom to facilitate efficient movement of containers. This includes a 24/7 facility for granting 'Let Export Order' for house stuffed containers. Once the Gate Module is operational, amendments or cancellations of the Let Export Order in ICES version 1.5 will not be possible after entry by the Gate Officer. Importers and exporters must ensure shipping details are accurate. Revised procedures are outlined for the movement of export and import containers between ICTT and Container Freight Stations (CFS) or Inland Container Depots (ICD). These procedures will be effective from May 21, 2013.
