of <h1>Exporters' Drawback Claims Delayed: Respond to EDI Queries per Rule 13(3) to Process and Check Status Online.</h1> Claims for export drawbacks are pending due to exporters not responding to queries raised in the EDI system regarding shipping bills. These claims are not pending with the Customs Department but with exporters, as per Rule 13(3) of the Drawback Rules, 1995. Exporters must reply through the EDI system for claims to be processed. The status of drawback shipping bills can be checked on the ICEGATE website. Exporters should print queries from the Computer Maintenance Centre at the Air Cargo Complex, Delhi, and submit replies with necessary documents. Older claims require proof of foreign remittance realization. For assistance, contact the Assistant Commissioner of Customs.
