of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Update: New Inspection Agency Added to Appendix 5, Effective October 22, 2008.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has issued an amendment to Appendix 5 of the Handbook of Procedures, Volume I, under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. This amendment, effective as of October 22, 2008, adds a new inspection and certification agency to the list. The agency, identified as M/s Ravi Energie, is now listed at Serial No. 100 in Appendix 5. This change is made in the public interest and is officially documented by the Director General of Foreign Trade, who also serves as the Ex-Officio Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
