of <h1>Amendment to Import Tariff: Acrylic Fiber Now Allowed as Alternative to Acrylic Tow in Textiles (Sl.No.6.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the General Notes for Textiles in the Import Tariff under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. Specifically, an addition has been made to Sl.No.6, allowing acrylic fiber as an alternative input to acrylic tow for imports, with the same quantity specified for acrylic tow. This amendment, issued in the public interest, is incorporated into the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009.
