of <h1>Mumbai Customs Empanels New Valuation Agencies for Imported Second-Hand Machinery, Effective Immediately per 2008 CBEC Circular.</h1> Attention is drawn to a public notice from the Commissioner of Customs at New Customs House, Mumbai, regarding the valuation of imported second-hand machinery. In addition to previously listed Chartered Engineers and Inspection Agencies, new entities have been empanelled for the valuation and examination of such machinery as per a 2008 CBEC circular. This inclusion is effective immediately and will remain until further notice. The notice lists ten Chartered Engineers and Inspection Agencies, providing their names and addresses, to be used by importers and Custom House Agents for compliance.
