of <h1>Trade Notice: Manual BRCs with Altered Dates Post-August 17, 2012, Rejected for Export Applications.</h1> The Trade Notice from the Office of the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade informs members of Trade & Industry that the submission of electronic Bank Realization Certificates (e-BRCs) for export proceeds has been mandatory since August 17, 2012. It addresses issues with applicants attempting to amend the issuance date of manual BRCs to before this mandatory date. The notice clarifies that such manual BRCs with altered issuance dates will no longer be accepted for applications where the issuance date is on or after August 17, 2012.
