of <h1>DGFT Updates Handbook: Exporters Must File Online Applications; Manual Filing Allowed Until EDI Module Launches.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures for the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 to facilitate transitional arrangements. Effective from April 1, 2015, exporters are required to file applications online, with deficiency letters issued electronically. Until September 30, 2015, or until the EDI online module is operational, certain applications may be filed manually. Status Certificates from the previous policy period will remain valid until September 30, 2015, or until a new certificate is issued under the current policy. These changes aim to streamline the application process and ensure continuity during the transition.
