of <h1>Commissioner-Level Officers in CBDT Redesignated as Additional Director General Across Various Directorates.</h1> The circular announces the redesignation of Commissioner (SAG) level officers in the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). The positions of Director of Income Tax in various departments such as Public Relations, Recovery, Examinations, Audit, and others are now redesignated as Additional Director General. This change applies across multiple directorates, including Systems, Infrastructure, Human Resource Development, Organisation & Management Services, Legal & Research, and Vigilance. All redesignated positions maintain the Commissioner/SAG (PB-4) grade with a pay grade of Rs. 10,000. The order has been approved by the CBDT.
