of <h1>Validity Period for Certificates Extended from 3 to 7 Days in Foreign Trade Policy Amendment.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. The amendment changes the validity period of certificates issued by nominated agencies from '3 working days' to '7 working days' before the date of shipment. This adjustment is made under the authority granted by paragraph 2.4 of the policy and is issued in the public interest. The change is documented in Public Notice No. 92/(RE 2008) 2004-09, dated October 13, 2008.
