of <h1>Revised Rupee Value for Special Currency Basket: From Rs. 80.580297 to Rs. 85.4813, Effective April 16, 2015.</h1> The circular addresses Category-I Authorized Dealer banks regarding revisions in the Rupee value of the Special Currency Basket under Deferred Payment Protocols between the Government of India and the former USSR, dated April 30, 1981, and December 23, 1985. The Rupee value, previously set at Rs. 80.580297 as of September 9, 2014, has been revised to Rs. 85.4813 effective April 16, 2015. Banks are instructed to inform relevant parties of this update. The circular is issued under sections 10(4) and 11(1) of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, and does not affect other legal permissions or approvals.
