of <h1>Delhi Trade Dept Delegates Audit Powers to JCs and DCs under DVAT Act Sections 68 and 58/58A.</h1> The Commissioner of the Department of Trade and Taxes, Government of NCT of Delhi, has delegated powers to Joint Commissioners (JCs) and Deputy Commissioners (DCs) in charge of various zones, including the KCS and Special Zone. This delegation, under Section 68 of the Delhi Value Added Tax (DVAT) Act, 2004, allows these officials to issue authorization in DVAT Form 50 for conducting audits under Section 58/58A of the DVAT Act. The authorization pertains to the business affairs of units registered within their jurisdiction. This order is disseminated to relevant departments and officials for implementation.
