of <h1>Supreme Court Sets Up Dedicated Bench for Tax Matters; Officials to Monitor Cases and Ensure Readiness.</h1> A dedicated bench has been established by the Supreme Court to handle tax matters exclusively on all working days, effective March 9, 2015. The Member (A&J) has instructed Principal Chief Commissioners and other relevant officials to regularly check the Supreme Court's website for the advance cause list and be prepared for cases within their jurisdiction. They must ensure readiness for briefings or notices required by the Court. In the event of an officer's absence, their successor must be informed of pending cases. Requests from the Directorate of Legal & Research should be prioritized, with a designated Nodal Officer available for assistance.
