Manufactured goods classification confirms aluminium dross and skimmings are excisable under the Explanation to the definition of manufacture. Aluminium dross and skimmings arising as by products in the process of manufacture of aluminium or non ferrous metal products are manufactured goods and therefore excisable with effect from 10.05.2008 in view of the Explanation added to the definition of manufacture.
