of <h1>Rupee Value for Deferred Payment Protocols with Former USSR Updated to Rs. 63.0186 Effective September 17, 2008.</h1> The circular addresses the revision of the rupee value of a special currency basket related to Deferred Payment Protocols between the Government of India and the former USSR, dated April 30, 1981, and December 23, 1985. Authorized Dealer Category - I banks are informed that the rupee value has been updated from Rs. 60.4392 to Rs. 63.0186, effective September 17, 2008. Banks are instructed to communicate this change to relevant parties. The directions are issued under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, and do not affect any other legal permissions or approvals required.
